The information you are posting here about the value of refined foods is alarming, flora. I put it to you now to present proof that refined sugars INCLUDING high fructose corn syrup benefits the body in any way that shows it to be more helpful than damaging.

GOOD QUESTION. I WILL EAT THEM. THEY ARE NOT POISON.

THEY ARE NOT OPTIMAL BUT YOU WILL NOT DIE FROM EATING THEM.
YOU WILL NOT GET SICK FROM EATING THEM.
THEY DO NOT CONTAIN GERMS IN AND OF THEMSELVES.

I will concede that brown sugar isn't any better. What I meant to say was unrefined "raw" sugar.
WHAT DOES THE BODY DO DIFFERENTLY WITH RAW SUGAR AS OPPOSED TO WHITE CANE SUGAR, BROWN CANE SUGAR OR BEET SUGAR, PLEASE?


We've gone round before on this subject, and I've had my fill to the point that I have to question your authenticity.

DOES IT HELP THAT I HAVE TO STAND UP IN COURT AND BE CHECKED ON?
DOES IT HELP THAT I HAD 600,000 LISTENERS FIVE DAYS A WEEK FOR THREE YEARS,
READY TO SUE IF i GOT ANYTHING WRONG?

I have never posted any information on this subject that I cannot post multiple links to reputable sources for. All you do is contradict it all and cite "books" that you have read.

YAH, I CAN'T SAY WHO I AM BUT I DO THIS ALL DAY.
IT IS MY JOB TO KNOW THESE THINGS.
I CAN'T POST LINKS TO THE INSIDE OF TEXTBOOKS.
I DO POST FOR YOU TO GO TO WWW.NUTRITIONDIMENSION.COM



Enough is enough. The TOS are very specific in regard to people pretending to be professional and giving advice to others in that capacity.

THEY HAVE CHECKED MY STUFF

While the majority of advice you give may not be directly damaging to people, it flies in the face of accepted current views on nutrition, and anyone following advice like "refined foods keep you from starving" are going to be confused as hell when their stomachs keep getting bigger.


SO, WHAT IS YOUR GOAL FOR FOOD AND EXERCISE?
IF THINNESS IS YOUR GOAL, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT THINNESS TO ACHIEVE FOR MUSCLES?
WHAT FOR BONES?
WHAT FOR BRAIN?
WHAT FOR CONNECTIVE TISSUE?

A personal trainer, who I know and shall not name,
has studied the plain basics of nutrition and not applied them.

Sad but true.

She feeds her hungry child at 6 AM and tells him to wait until lunch to get hungry.

( ...as if...)

He gets so hungry by 10:30 that she ends up feeding him
and then, he won't eat his lunch but his hungry at 2 which is
one of the most horrible things that any child can ever do!!!!!!!!!!!!

She walks this, EXACT, path of refusing-to-learn every day.

When I was young and did not know, I watched Nelson Vails eat a cinnamon roll covered in tuna.

When I asked him, what about that, he explained that he need carbs and protein.

Here is a precious one:


One time, a woman talked about nutrition to a group at a gym.

She talked about the SUPERness of flax seeds and made it sound like
all troubles will stop if you could just eat enough flax seeds.

One woman went home from this lecture and ate a bunch of flax seeds,
clogged herself and died.

Now, at that gym, no one is allowed to talk about food in any way ever.

For the last time. Refined foods, such as refined sugars and bleached flour have 0 zero nada zilch nutritional value. They do nothing to or for your body other than turn to fat. This is fact. Simple fact. Nothing you can say or spin can or will change that fact. You are promoting UNHEALTHY eating practices. No help for muscle. No help for bones. Nothing. If anything I have to wonder what YOU are trying to sell.

EDIT: oh, now I know... the link you posted is trying to sell me some nutrition course. No real information. Very funny

Usually, when I talk about food, this first thing that i have to do is to shovel off a
WHOLE LOAD of drivel about carbs.

THEN, we can get to work.


What used to happen is: I would say the word, "meat" sooner or later
and some one would interrupt and say that they don't eat meat.

It didn't matter where I was speaking, this would happen.

Upon further questioning, most of the time, the person would mean "red meat"
and forget that "chicken" is "meat".
These were not vegetarians.
It was very sad that they cannot remember than chicken is meat
and that a vegetarian is a different thing all together.

This crowd has gotten old and i only get this, predictable, behavior if I talk to seniors.

The current crowds are layered in carb-drivel.

CHEETOS AND SODA IS NOT A MEAL
BUT WILL KEEP YOU MOVING AND THINKING.

ONLY STEAK WILL NOT WORK THE BRAIN.


No help for muscle.

EVEN REFINED CARBS WILL MAKE MUSCLES FUNCTION JUST FINE.
THE VITAMINS WON'T BE THERE AND THE HEALING FROM PROTEIN WON'T HAPPEN.


No help for bones.

ONLY CALCIUM WILL GIVE THIS

Here is another important point:

you guys think that alcohol is fine in moderation
but that refined white flour and sugar
are the helliest hells of them all.


You guys, seriously, that is a WIDE FLAT TOTAL mistake
and wrong wrong wrong.

Both are just carbs.
Alcohol is way worse for you than any refined flour or sugar.

I'M SORRY but it's true.

Now, can you see that refined flour and sugar aren't pure evil?
Does the comparison with alcohol make it more clear?

Here is what you wouldn't know to ask:

No one with a college degree in Exercise Science is allowed to teach.

They must, also, have a certification.

Why?
Because colleges are so skewed to sport that they
do not fund or foist anything but "run, jump, throw".

They do not focus on long-term health except in studies
and do not teach what happens in class.

Also, no physical therapist would ever be hired to teach with out a certification.

Flora. All the nutrients... the vitamins and minerals have been bleached out and chemically removed. Without them the body cannot process the carbs. Since you took an oath in front of congress or whatever, you should know that carbs that the body cannot process turns into what? That's right, it turns into fat. Congrats, all the starving children you just tried to save are still starving. They're just fatter now... and have bad teeth.

Oh. If something causes the body to releasr fat that the muscles can then burn, then it could be said that it helps the body to burn fat, couldn't it? Hmmmm. I just remembered what you had said about that earlier.

I HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED SINCE 1992.
I HAVE TO RE-ED EVERY TWO YEARS OR THE CERT EXPIRES.
I NEVER LET IT LAPSE.
NONE OF MY KNOWLEDGE IS OLD.

ALL OF THE NEW STUFF ABOUT CARBS IS AS SAD AS THE WORD "CORE".

ATKINS WAS REALLY WRONG ABOUT CARBS.

HIS MISTAKES HAVE TAKEN ON A LIFE OF THEIR OWN
AND ARE WANDERING ALL OVER, CAUSING HAVOC
