Eating more protien will help to kill the craving for candy.
Ice Cream does not love you back.

Jerky's OK. Frozen berries are my ice cream substitute right now.

The only reason I have for sitting infront of the boobtube all day would be extreme blizzard conditions which we havent had scince the late 1980's however Durring the 1990s I used to sit on my old Solex and peddle it with the jack down while playing a motorbike racing game on my Super Nintendo and my Sega Genises

An update:

My wife got me an exellent Christmas gift, and I got it early: On the first week of December I got a recumbrent exercise bike, and I've been wearing it out.

My muscles have been sluggish to grow, but I put in a full body workout at least twice a week. I'm still weak, but I feel in better shape, if that makes sense.

Diets been OK, still love my candy and pasta. I've decided to only focus on FEELING better and not LOOKING better. It can be discouraging when your body still looks blah after working out for a while. But I love me bad foods, and genetics are against me. I'm still eating better and don't plan on stopping, but I won't care if I'm still soft in the middle and small in the arms if I'm in good shape. Plus my gut IS shrinking.

Good for you! It's about how you feel not how you look.

Myself, I've always found that making small positive changes leads to more positive changes, etc... my trouble is giving up because the initial changes are small and I feel pressure to change everything at once. But I've realized that I should stick with the small changes I make because when I'm successful at those, I make bigger changes.

So keep it up! The point is to have more energy, be healthier and feel good about yourself, not to look like Mr. Universe.

hokay, new people. I am a personal trainer,
teacher of other personal trainers
and recognized Expert Witness
on the subject of weightlifting.

Let's map out some stuff for both of you
that isn't over-whelming, gives good results
and will make sure that you don't get hurt

we cannot speed healing.
it takes six weeks to start the new nerve-endings.
it is normal for any new owkrout for any new person
to feel awful for six weeks.

YOu MUST eat during the first year a-plenty or
yoru body won't make the new muscles and such that you'll wnat and need

Hehe, Flora if you are referring to me in that, I always get hurt. I have a connective tissue disorder that causes me to have very weak ligaments and tendons so my joints aren't well supported. I sprain and/or strain easily. Whenever I do something particularly active, it's just an accepted risk Smile

ligaments and tendons are not the only things holding you together.

Muscle matters a LOT and muscles are the ones that you
CAN affect.
Muscles start to weaken after four days of rest in ANY person.

During the first few weeks, it is worthwhile to be very careful
rather than just dowackado.

Please type up your workout elements and timing
and let's tailor it for your needs

I've always been in shape, due to my smaller frame, fast metabolism and hyper-active lifestyle im all muscle. I think i cracked one of my ribs though, the pain is agonizing.
