That's intense. Why the late night lifting?

Sounds like a recipe for overtraining. Weight lifting especially tears muscle fibers down...gotta have adequate rest to recover and rebuild.

Yeah, if hes doing that every day, its overtraining. Relaxing is every bit as essential as training, and this schedule is not as great as it may seem for being ready to go at a moment's notice, unless you are seriously hyperactive as well (also not great for rlsh activities)

Yeah... I wouldn't do that. Too much physical activity without recovery and not enough food to support it, for sure.

Also, and I'm not a physical training expert or anything, but there are certain things you want to take into account when deciding what to do for training. Here are some of the better known ones:

Specificity
Progression
Overload
Reversability
Tedium

and

Frequency
Intensity
Time
Type

Two of the biggest things in practical terms are to build up from doing less to doing more (or doing it longer), because without that early on you're at risk of injury and later on you're just moving without getting a workout if you just do one routine.

Like let's say you run 6km everyday. If you start that without first walking, then running 1, 2, 3, etc km for a while, you can get shin splints or other injuries. But even if you don't have any problems, a year later if you're still running 6km every day at about the same speed/time... then it's not really exercise anymore other than to sustain your current level of ability.

And the other is to train for what you want to be able to do, so ideally if you want to punch better, for instance, the best training is punching.

Anyway, if you google those terms above you can find advice from people who know more than me about it.
